Originally from New England, Logan Kock has worked in the Seafood Supply Chain for over 40 years. His experience includes offshore biological observer and artificial reef builder in the Western Pacific to quality control with Red Lobster Restaurants, importing with Meridian Products, and seafood purchasing with US Foodservice, Disney and Shells. He has been with Santa Monica Seafood for 18 years in strategic purchasing where he currently holds the post of Chief Sustainability Officer. He created Santa Monica’s responsible sourcing program granting nearly $1M US to aquaculture, fishery, and environmental projects worldwide, he is a founding member of Sea Pact, and administers SMSF’s environmental reporting. He travels extensively validating the integrity of SMSF’s suppliers and SMSF brands, as well as qualifying prospects with responsible sourcing and food safety in mind. He holds a MS in Biology from University of Guam and a MBA from California State University Fullerton.
