Sponsored Workshop: Inclusive Business Opportunities Within Seafood Value Chains
In Asia Pacific, agriculture and fisheries are major livelihood providers to many people in rural areas and those living in poverty. Inclusive business interventions in seafood sectors have the potential to increase incomes of poor people while expanding economic opportunities, including access to new markets, new secondary incomes and small business opportunities. At the same time, these commercially viable approaches can contribute to companies’ competitiveness.
Join us at this workshop where we will look at the various inclusive business opportunities agribusinesses have to meet the needs of millions of people in poverty, including engaging poor people and small enterprises in supply chains, and reaching new customers with innovative products or services.
