Registration fees include the following:
- Access to the Seafood Summit and associated program
- Lunch and Tea/Coffee Breaks for each Summit day
- Welcome reception
- Day registrants will have access to the Summit only on those day(s) purchased
- Breakfast is included in the room rate for those staying at the conference hotel, Kowloon Shangri-La
Registration fees do not include:
- Hotel accommodation, flight and travel insurance
- Pre-Summit Workshops
- Summit field trips
- Guest participation in the Summit program
Workshops and Field Trips
Registration fees includes three on-site lunches and one reception as part of the Seafood Summit. If you would like to add a guest to any of the meals or reception included with your Seafood Summit attendance, please do so during registration.

To book your hotel accommodations at the conference hotel, the Kowloon Shangri-La, follow the instructions below. Space at the conference hotel is limited; to ensure you have a room, please book as soon as possible.

- Kowloon Shangri-La Online Reservations
- Enter all the necessary stay requirements like check-in date, check-out date, number of rooms, adults and children.
- Under the “Special Rate” area, select “Group Code” and enter code: HEL040912
- Click the Check Availability button to continue.
- If all the search criteria are correct and rooms are still available for the group, the group rate will be returned in the availability search result.
Method of Payment
Registration can only be confirmed once payment is received.
Payment can be made by credit card only – Visa or MasterCard will be accepted. If you are making a credit card payment from a country outside the United States, for security reasons you may need to advise your banking institution of the impending charge and authorize them to allow the charge to the Seafood Summit to clear.
The conference fee less a $50.00 administrative fee will be refunded if cancellation is received and acknowledged in writing no later than Monday, August 13th 2012, midnight Eastern Standard Time.
Substitutions are allowed prior to August 13th and are subject to a $25.00 administrative fee.
NO REFUNDS will be issued for cancellations received after August 13th 2012.
The Seafood Summit will convene global leaders with valuable contributions to advance the debate on sustainability in the seas – including, business, international organizations, government, NGOs, academia and media. To ensure the discussions at the summit are balanced and representative of all key stakeholder groups, SeaWeb reserves the right to review and authorize all registrations. Once capacity has been reached for a particular stakeholder group, individuals may then be added onto a wait-list.

The Seafood Summit and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. SeaWeb is not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, SeaWeb does not accept responsibility for loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Seafood Summit does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.
