To maximize the strategic value of the Seafood Summit, particularly as 2012 takes this event to Asia for the first time, Seafood Choices will engage key international leaders and stakeholders to form an Advisory Committee (GAC).
Individuals selected to this small group will include former Seafood Champions, business and conservation executives, and scientists in the sustainable seafood movement that represent various geographies. This Advisory Committee is currently under formation and further details of its members will be coming soon.
The function of the Advisory Committee will be to provide opinions, advice and connections to add strength to the planning and implementation of the 10th International Seafood Summit. This includes:
- Increasing, via this event, the breadth and depth of involvement of key seafood stakeholders and geographies
- Navigating priority current, and emerging, challenges and solutions for inclusion during the Summit
